Why this title "Traces d'ancêtres" ?
My genealogical database is on Geneanet. It shows the members, close or remote, of our families starting from our children. A family chronicle is associated with it.
So then, why this title ?
We have got documents, discovered events and I only wish et share them with you. You will find pictures, various documents, real or transcripted, stories, links towards websites which we noticed for various reasons.
The picture on the welcome page - also viewed in the site banner - shows the family of Eugene CHAUSSON and Lucie PUTAUT, sosas 30 and 31 of our children.
Lucie is sitting in the centre, Eugene's hand on her right shoulder. They are surrounded by their 3 daughters : Juliette, the eldest one, standing on Lucie's right side; Marie, the second one, on the right side of the picture; Pauline, the youngest one, my maternal grandmother, on the left side. The picture was taken around 1907.
